The Digital Industrial Complex (D.I.C.)

What is the Digital Industrial Complex? It is a huge sprawling digital complex online that will be in a constant state of development and maintenance for years to come. It is analogous to the infrastructure that we have been working on in our real world since the mid 1800’s. A lot of Today’s Real world infrastructure was made possible by the industrial revolution. This revolution transformed our whole world into what it is today. Today we are in the midst of a digital revolution. This revolution will produce a Digital Industrial Complex. But something is wrong. Why hasn’t development started on the Digital Complex? Who is going to do it? Where will the technology come from? How can it be done? The answers are forth coming.

The digital revolution has been going on for some time but it has never reached its moment of critical mass. Just what is holding it back? The second industrial revolution is about to transform our world once again. This time it will be the Digital Industrialization of our real world that will result in the development of the Digital Industrial Complex. Sounds like science fiction but the technology is here and the movement has started (The Manhattan Project - Code name BIG).

The Webs failure at Digital Industrialization is what caused the Dot com bust of 2000. Digital Industrialization is the biggest opportunity that has ever existed on this planet. In short the Digital Industrial complex is the full digital industrialization of our real world only possible with a technology(V2) capable of harnessing the virtual potential of the internet.

The digital complex is almost synonymous with the cyber world, except the digital complex (foundation/infrastructure) is what computer scientists and systems programmers will see and work on below the surface of the cyber world. Developers, information workers and users will be more familiar with the Cyber World on the surface through applications. The Digital Complex will be maintained by millions and maybe even billions of what we call information workers. Our real lives will merge more and more with our virtual lives.

Building the Digital Industrial Complex is the most important Project of all time. How can we say that? It is literally the first time that the human race will exist as one not many. The Human race has never had an opportunity to work together on the same page. We are so highly fragmented that nothing gets done. For the first time in history we will be able to work together as one near perfect cohesive unit. We have never had a way to harness the brain power and productivity of the human race so that it could be focused to solve problems and manage resources. This means we will we have better ways to deal with problems of complexity in any fields, industries and even government. We will be able to manage our resources on global, regional and local levels. Digital Industrialization, V2,  and The Cyber World are literally the answer to a whole host of problems on this planet because they deal with the problem at its root. The root of the problem is human discontinuity.  We will never lose continuity again. You could not possibly fully appreciate what this means at this time, but you will see. The Digital Complex is impossible to build without a major paradigm shift. Not knowing are understanding the paradigm shift definitely leaves you at disadvantage for grasping the enormous ramifications.
